Camberley’s Club Championship started on the last Saturday of January – the first race on the updated track.
Jake Cranstone sailed serenely above the fray in Honda Cadet while Matthew Herbert, Charlie Mann and Alexander Page sorted out the remaining top positions, and Harry Newman-Oakley slipped by into 4th. Toby McDonald and Sam Lambert hit the front of IAME Cadet in the early laps but with a massive advantage McDonald pulled out a 25s lead.
Michael Cope won 250 Gearbox after Jordan Long’s campaign was cut short. Colin Buxton eventually finished 2nd, 13s behind. Anthony Whitehead passed most of the field in the early laps in Senior Honda and won by 5s.
In Minimax Jordan Collard was the early leader but Samuel Johnston made a demon start and reeled him in for a narrow victory with Ethan James Haynes 3rd and also part of the lead group. Leroy Brown made the most of the start to take the lead of Junior Rotax but Lawrence Boyington passed him two laps from the end. Joe Pfiffner was fastest but had a deficit to make up for after the start.
Alexander Luck and Tom Thompson led all the way through the Senior Rotax final, and Michael Finch gained a place to 3rd when Joshua Carr retired.
