  • Yamaha WR250-F
High performance 4-stroke engines are a relatively new side of karting while the gearbox classes have been around since the very beginning. The strange thing is that it has taken so long for the two to be coupled together. Martin Capenhurst travelled to France to test the result, the Yamaha WR250-F, and he loved it!

  • Project One Racing
Gerard Cox's operation has enjoyed great success over the last decade with Sam Quinlan's S1 Formula TKM title in 2000 perhaps being their finest achievement. Quinlan is now part of the company and they have moved into a new unit at Bayford Meadows. We popped in to have a look around.

  • World Formula
The World Formula class was the hot subject over the winter with loads of shiny new outfits on display at the various shows. Zoom Karts distribute the Briggs & Stratton engine for the class in the UK and we've got the story of how and why they got involved. We've also got an engine to give away in our free competition!

  • PCR TSL-2K
After examining the Maxter 100cc reed-valve engine in minute detail last month, Carlo Forni turns his attention this month to PCR's latest offering, the TSL-2K.

  • Super 2 Series
The Super 2 Series is the national championships for the 4-stroke classes and this year also has a class for Rotax MAX drivers who are not jockey-size. We have full coverage of the first two rounds at Fulbeck and Daytona International.

  • Retrovision Helmet
Rear view mirrors have been tried on karts but have never caught on. Wouldn't it be useful though to be able to see behind you without turning your head? The Retrovision helmet could be the answer!
