  • Mariembourg Euro Champs
    The latest event in the CIK European Champs for Formula A, ICC and Super-ICC took place at a blisteringly hot Mariembourg in Belgium at the end of June. Francesco Laudato wrapped up the Super-ICC title and there were wins for Erik Janis and Stefano Albertini in ICC. The great news in Formula A was that Jon Lancaster took a win and a 2nd place (behind Sauro Cesetti) to put himself firmly in championship contention. Jon made it on to our cover and you can also win some signed goodies in this month's competition.

  • P.F.I. Euro Challenge
    As expected, Trent Valley KC pulled out all the stops when they hosted the second round of the Rotax Mojo MAX Euro Challenge. Competitors from as far afield as Australia and South Africa made the trip but it was the Brits who stole the show with Ben Cooper leading Jack Hawksworth over the line in Juniors and Tristram Oman taking the honours in Seniors. South Africa's Cristiano Morgado won RM-1 with Ireland's James Tumulty in 2nd.

  • Mike Wilson Karts Test
    To win one World Championship is a major achievement, to win six guarantees you a place in karting folklore. Mike Wilson retired from racing in 1989 having lifted karting's premier title in 1981, 1982, 1983, 1985, 1988 and 1989. Since then he has concentrated on kart production. George Robinson travelled to Llandow to test Mike's karts and meet the man himself. He was impressed on both counts.

  • Rotax Super 1 Rowrah
    Six engines were taken away from the Rowrah Rotax Super One round for further inspection, five were found to be illegal. You can read the first instalment in what will undoubtedly be a long running saga on pages 76 to 78.
