  • World Champs
    Five years ago, Colin Brown won the Formula A World Champs at Braga and now another Brit has done it and at the same venue! Oliver Oakes on a Gillard is the 2005 World Champion and surprise, surprise he is on the cover. Other Brits also shone in Portugal including Jon Lancaster (a superb 2nd), Mark Litchfield (led the Final) and Riki Christodoulou (star of the heats). The full story and a competition to win Oliver's steering wheel is in this issue with technical stuff and other news stories in the December issue.

  • Biland Kart-GP
    Sharing Braga with the Formula As were the Bilands for the second event of their two-round International Kart-GP series. Joao Gonçalves of Brazil is the champion and the recipient of a brand new Mini!

  • Superkart Euro Champs
    As well as a World 100cc Champion, Britain has also got a European Superkart Champion in the shape of John Riley. Driving an Anderson/Rotax, John headed the table going into the final two rounds in Sweden, with two 2nd places behind outgoing champion Damien Payart enough to secure the crown.

  • World Cup
    Drivers from three CIK classes converged on Sarno at the beginning of September, the Juniors and the ICCs contesting their European Finals and the Super ICCs doing battle in their World Cup. Francesco Laudato added the World Cup to his growing CV, two 2nd places for Erik Janis saw him win the ICC title, while Northern Region top qualifier Michael Christensen continued his winning ways in JICA.
