  • World Champs
    The most important event in the karting calendar took place at La Conca in Italy on the third weekend of September. The World Championship is the one the drivers, teams and manufacturers really want to win. Our five page feature starts on page 6.

  • Alex Hawkridge Interview
    It's not widely known that Ayrton Senna signed his first Formula One deal in an office in Essex. Nor, do many people know that the person signing him was Alex Hawkridge. The former Toleman F1 boss now spends his weekends at kart circuits helping another motorsport legend, Barry Lee, and his son Freddie. Adam Jones went along to meet him.

  • World Cup & Euro Champs Varennes
    Three titles were up for grabs at Varennes at the beginning of September. Aaro Vainio proved that his Winter Cup win in February was no one-off by taking the KF3 Euro Champs, Tony Lavanant secured the KZ2 crown in the first Final in France while KZ1 European Champion Jonathan Thonon added the World Cup to his CV. We've got a full report on proceedings and the chance to win a Maxter cap signed by Thonon.

  • Ross Brawn on Karting and F1
    Honda Team Principal Ross Brawn masterminded six consecutive Formula One constructors titles for Ferrari and a total of seven drivers titles for Michael Schumacher. His rise to prominence is well documented, but what isn't generally known is that his first entry into motorsport came through karting. Dave Bewley chatted to him at Buckmore Park.
