Fin Kenneally to Ricky Flynn Motorsport

It was confirmed earlier this week that Junior Max Vice European Champion Fin Kenneally had signed with back to back KF Junior World Champions Ricky Flynn Motorsport.

The 13 year old came out of Cadets last year with immediate success. He finished 3rd overall in the Mini Max Super One Championship before going one better in the super competitive Junior Max Euro Challenge. Fin secured the title as Vice European Champion with a win at Genk which helped him win is ticket to the Rotax Max Grand Finals in Portimao.

However, Fin is now saying goodbye to both UK and Rotax racing as he’s signed to Ricky Flynn Motorsport to race Internationally in the OK-Junior class.

Fin has already had a taste of this kind of racing when he competed in the Lonato Winter Cup last year with Strakka Racing and impressed considering how premature he was to the Junior classes.

But now he couldn’t be more prepared and he feels that this is a natural progression for him given his achievements last year. Fin commented: It’s a real privilege to be driving for RFM. The hard work has already started and I can’t wait for the coming season and the challenges ahead!”

Fin will be competing in all the CIK and WSK championships and will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of former RFM Junior driver, Enaam Ahmed who won both the European and World Championships with RFM two years ago.

RFM were also the Senior World Champions that year with Lando Norris and are the reigning Junior World Champions with American driver Logan Seargant.

So all the ingredients are there for Fin to do well but only time will tell if the move is a successful one!
