FKS announces 2016 Sky Sports F1 coverage

Formula Kart Stars has announced today that the championship will once again be shown on Motorsport’s premier channel, Sky Sports F1.

Last year the series produced six thirty minute programmes which were shown on the F1 channel but with the championship extended to 8 weekends in 2016, the organisers have decided two extra programmes will be necessary.

Eight thirty minute programmes will made this year and will be shown on Sky Sports F1 around three weeks after the event. The programme will also be available on Sky’s ‘On Demand’ service and ‘Sky Go’ platforms with repeats also due to air after the initial screening.

FKS can also confirm that Nicki Shield’s will once again be in front of camera as the programmes ‘Presenter’. Nicki, who covers the Formula E series on ITV4, brings a wealth of experience and after her first season will be all too familiar of her surroundings.
