Fourth successful year for the Coppa di Campioni Vintage

THE fourth running of the CIK-FIA Coppa Di Campioni Vintage was a great success at Jesolo in May with over 150 karts on display and doing demonstrations on the track.

The ASI Show Kart invaded the green paddock of Jesolo as usual for one of the largest exhibitions of historic karts in the world, including rare pieces like the very first BM and Komet engines.

It is a non-racing event but celebrates the days when the Coppa Di Campioni (Champions Cup) was an event equivalent in status to a World Cup. Three-time winner Gabriele Gorini was honoured at the awards ceremony which was attended by CIK Vice-President Kees Van Der Grint. Three juniors entered the event and the oldest participant was 90!
