La Conca experienced fantastic racing yesterday which concluded with the crowning of two new world champions. The new World Champion in KF is the Polish driver Karol Basz while the title in KFJ went to the American Logan Sargeant. The crowd on the stands saluted the new champions with a standing ovation as both Basz and Sargeant won their Finals deservedly.

The CIK-FIA single round Championship was very exciting this year with162 drivers coming from 36 different countries and 5 continents reached the circuit in southern Italy, to take part in the event. It was a great celebration of karting, with thrilling races throughout the whole weekend.

Karol Basz is the KF Word Champion.

Karol Basz won the KF title, battling hard in the first stage of the race but Karol managed to keep his rivals at bay to pull a lead in the closing stages. The Polish driver had a good start from the pole-position, followed by Nicklas Nielsen, before he was reached by the three Brits Ben Hanley, Tom Joyner and Jordon Lennox-Lamb. Joyner even managed to get past Basz for a short time before quickly losing the place again. Eventually, Basz crossed the finishing line first, followed by Lennox-Lamb and Nielsen, with Joyner and Hanley fourth and fifth.

Logan Sargeant wins in KFJ.

Despite their young age, the KFJ drivers proved to be motivated and able to keep the cool even in such a heated Final. The race was dominated by Logan Sargeant, Clement Novalak and the Caio Collet. Sargeant, who gained the lead of the race starting from the pole position, managed to pull away after an initial battle with Collet and Novalak, who fought for the second position until the end. Eventually, Sargeant won the race and the title, while the the runner-up was Novalak with Collet in third position.
