Races at Rye House this weekend!

Rye House are gearing up for another big weekend of racing this weekend with both the Rye House Pro Kart (RHPK) and IKR Championships set to take to the track. Pro Karts will be out on Saturday with IKR heading out on Sunday

The RHPK championship has been labelled as the UK’s Premier Pro Kart Championship with another sell out grid this weekend. Their round one event sold out in just 5 hours after the announcement that the championship would be serialised on Motors TV and with full Karting magazine exposure too! There are LIVE grid walks on Karting magazine Facebook at each round along with televised round. There is also a sponsored lunch at each round with the team Polish Lambo bringing a professional setup to cook all the food.

A pace car is also arranged for each round and last year GT racer, Ben Green, returned to the RHPK paddock in his Ginetta Car to do some demo laps and lead the karts around.

Sunday follows on with round two of the Rye House IKR Championships featuring sprint formats for Bambino, Cadet, Senior Max and Rotax 177 classes. This championship, whilst only two rounds old, is already boasting full grids in some of the classes, only last December the Festival Race, featured by Karting magazine, attracted the attention of a certain Mr Hamilton and his son!

There is no charge to spectate at Rye House and the hospitality and facilities on site are second to none, you really are welcome!

Team Karting magazine will be back at round two this weekend!
