JAG Engineering released the following statement regarding the introduction of Rotax EVO engines for 2016
Following consultation with BRP-ROTAX and a careful study of the current market conditions, we are very pleased to announce the introduction of 2016 engine markets into the UK from the 1st January 2016.
This introduction applies to the base engine unit only.
All accessories, electrical components, Carburettor, Exhaust system and associated ancillaries will remain unchanged until further notice.
The reason for this decision is to ensure stability in the market, but include the option for those wishing to upgrade or buy into the Rotax classes. In this way customers have the opportunity to benefit from the latest engine model which includes internal improvements. These improvements have been proven and do not enhance performance.
In this respect it is clear that existing engines and their ancillaries will continue to be just as competitive as they are today.
