TKM Platinum Cup will go ahead at Three Sisters

As confirmed yesterday the May race meeting at Three Sisters including the TKM Platinum Cup will go ahead despite the financial problem which hit the circuit operators earlier this week. Now you need to get your entries in!

Manchester & Buxton Kart Club, which was not involved in the financial collapse which hit the race school, has been given the go ahead to run the May 27/28 race meeting as usual and we’re hoping for a bumper turnout of TKM drivers at this high speed circuit.

The format is testing on Saturday the 27th, with racing on Sunday the 28th. Special entry cost for TKM drivers is the club member rate at £90 for both the test day and race meeting. Or of course you can just enter to race at £50.

Tal-Ko will be supporting the Platinum Cup with vouchers for the top three in Juniors and Seniors. You can enter on-line at www.mbkc.co.uk where you can also find full information about the circuit.

TKM boss Alan Turney says: “We are delighted that the club have managed to overcome the problem of the race school collapse and hope we will have an excellent entry for the prestigious TKM Platinum Cup.”

And added MBKC secretary Alan Crankshaw: “We have had a massive amount of support over the last week and we hope that the TKM fraternity will turn out in force to enjoy some great racing and provide solidarity to MBKC.”
