TKM’s Britain’s Finest event a success

The TKM Britain’s Finest event held at Whilton Mill in October has been given a big thumbs up by both drivers and organisers.

The event saw some very close racing with British Champion Bradley White taking the Junior event by half a kart length, Owain Rosser winning Extreme, and Jack Macaulay triumphant in Clubman.

With this year’s first event attracting a very strong entry with more drivers not able to race in Extreme because it was so oversubscribed, plans are being finalised to hold the event a month earlier next year when there is more daylight.

Says TKM boss Alan Turney: “This was a great way to end the year at a circuit which always makes for good racing. We are very keen to work with Whilton Mill to run the event next year and have the time to be able to run extra heats so we can accommodate a larger number of drivers.”

Added Whilton Mill’s Debbie Sellers: “We were delighted to see such a strong TKM entry and sad because we had to turn some away because the grids were full. We look forward to expanding the event next year when we hope everyone will be able to race making this a special TKM weekend here at Whilton Mill. In the meantime we are always happy to run grids for TKM so long as we have sufficient entries.”
