Clearing the overnight snow delayed the start of the first round of the 2016 series.  Once racing got underway at about 11.30 it was decided to hold two long heats with an aggregate result for the trophies.  The club thanks everyone who helped to clear the snow from the track.  The drivers co-operated magnificently on this the first time with Race ‘n’ Respect and the new white line rules.  There were no penalties and no requirements for the medics.

The two Cadet classes were the best supported, and in IAME 2-stroke, Kai Askey had the best results of a first and third in the heats. Leonardo Panayiotou won the other heat battling with Jamie Mead and that propelled him into second overall. Mead completed the podium with his two second places.
